What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When you register as a Citizen and create a profile, we store all the information that you provide on a dedicated server. We also automatically subscribe you to our mailing list using www.mailchimp.com where we store your name and email address. We use this information in order to email you every two weeks to send you interesting articles and updates.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Any time you fill out a contact form this information is emailed to us at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can respond to your request.
